Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in each fight. She went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd bounced back from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to beat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via the TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina, and ground-and - pounded her for an TKO win in the second round. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger in the first round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Her first fight of note came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was victorious in an unanimous decision in an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters, got the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a last-minute replacement for her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
